Someone should ask Time’s Person of the Year why their site went down. Maybe Julian Assange knows?

      At approximately 4:45pm EST, Facebook went down for unknown reasons. Either the page is completely not loading or loading extraordinarily slow. I’ve personally tried loading multiple times and got nothing. In fact no one in the office is able to access their Facebook accounts.

      I was first tipped off when all of the Facebook “like” buttons on our site went down. Then I saw the conversation all over Twitter, no one could get on Facebook.

      Is this the work of Julian Assange? Possibly celebrating his release? It could have been due to the massive roll outs Facebook planned to release today.

      Seconds ago Facebook went back up. At least for the time being.
