A domain name is the uniform resource locator (URL) address that your visitors will use to navigate to your website online. The most common top
level domains include .com, .net and .org. When you develop a domain, you are also developing a brand for your organization, product or service
on the Internet. Because of this, you should choose a domain that best represents the goal and topic of your website while being simple enough
for visitors to remember and use.
Instructions
1. Create a domain name that will be the same as your website name. This reinforces branding and helps visitor remember your website.
2.Choose a domain name that relates directly to your organization, product or service. A domain name that tells about the focus of your website will be easier to search for on search engines.
3.Select a domain name that is short and easy to type. Avoid using numbers or hyphens in the domain name. This helps visitors remember your domain and pass it out to other people online.
4.Do a keyword search of the chosen domain name and notice the competition for use of that keyword. Place quotes around the name chosen and search using a search engine. Note the number of references that come up in total for that word. To generate free traffic with your domain name, try and pick a keyword phrase as the domain name with less than 15,000 competitive uses of the name. Use a keyword tool to ascertain how many people search for that phrase within a given month to get an idea of natural traffic.
5. Go to an online domain registrar service website Todayisp.com to use a free domain name search. Searching for domain names that you think of will help you determine which names are available to purchase.
6.Sign up with the domain registrar service and purchase a top level domain name such as .com, .net or .org. Always try to purchase the .com domain if it is available. You will be able to configure your domain names from the dashboard on the registrar service website.Todaynic.com International Limited
