According to an article from Forbes,Microsoft has secured the Xbone.com domain name .The "Xbone" term emerged after the company announced that the next generation console would be called Xbox One .

Even though a few days ago Larry Hryb,the director of programming for Xbox Live said that he doesn't like the "Xbone" term,Microsoft finally decided to secure the domain name .

"It disrespects the teams that have put in thousands of hours (already) into the development of the product. Sure, it's cheeky but I don't care for it myself," said Larry Hryb about the "Xbone" nickname .

According to whois records,Xbone.com was first registered on 20th March,200 .

At the time of publication this article,Xbone.com domain name redirects to a Bing search result page for "Xbone" .
