Nike filed a UDRP complaint with the World Intellectual Property ,asserting legal rights over NikeIran.com domain name.

Nike should expect the World Intellectual Property Organization  order the domain name to be transferred,considering the company owns many trademark registration for the "Nike" mark all over the world.

    The World Intellectual Property Organization will examine if the domain name is confusingly similar to the trademarked name.Moreover,it will examine if the owner of the disputed domain name has rights over it and if the domain is being used in bad faith.The disputed domain name will be passed over to Nike if it falls under all three of these stipulations.

The case is still pending compliance checks with the World Intellectual Property Organization .

According to whois records ,the domain name was first registered in October,2011 .
