Overview

This workshop is to discuss issues of regional cooperation and carry out open dialogue, maintain 

regional Internet development and stability, promote technical cooperation, and reduce digital gap 

for developing countries. The goal of the workshop is to raise notice and voice to encourage more 

developing countries to share technical resource and techniques, promote long term trade and 

investment, and increase opportunities of inter-regional infrastructure interconnection. Topics 

like IDN experience sharing, anti-phishing techniques, technical standard RFC drafting , IT 

infrastructure construction opportunities, local market opportunities, and etc would be discussed. 

Successful case study of collaborations among Asian ccTLD registries would be also introduced and 

shared. The workshop welcomes representatives from any developing countries and anyone who is 

interested in AP region opportunities.
