According to whois records the domain name belongs to Frank Martinez,who bought the domain name in 1996 ,Martinez owns other several iteratios with various extensions.

According to NYPost.com,Frank Martinez received an offer from the Port Authority a couple of years ago.The company offered Martinez $104,000 for the domain name,but he turned down the offer .
