Sedo has announced that it has sold the most expensive domain name of this year so far. Gambling.com has been bought for $2.5 million (£1.5 million) by an unnamed company based in the United Kingdom.

The new owner's identity isn't yet known, but considering the healthy state of the UK's online gambling market, they are sure
to be able to capitalise on the benefits of a very memorable descriptive domain name.
