Technology research organization the 451 Group revealed the program Thursday for its 2012 Hosting and Cloud Transformation Summit North America event, set to take place in Las Vegas once again this year, from September 18 to 20 at the Aria resort.

Now in its eighth year, the theme of the 2012 Hosting and Cloud Transformation Summit event is “Raising the Stakes,” referring to a general, program-wide focus on “competition among managed data center and hosting service providers and their strategies for market share.”

The complete program (with a to-be-determined speaker here and there, by the looks of it) is posted up on the event website. Sessions will hit on subjects including what SME and enterprise customers want; delivering managed hosting in the cloud era; PaaS business models; funding and valuations; the impact of cloud orchestration; and cloud brokering and on-ramps; among others.

Registration for the event is currently open at the Hosting and Cloud Transformation Summit website, with early-bird rates for both clients and non-clients available until Friday, August 3.
