Web hosting provider Tenzing Managed IT Services and product information management software Heiler Software announced on Tuesday a new partnership where Heiler will offer Tenzing’s managed hosting solutions to its new North American customers.

This is one of a handful of key partnerships for Tenzing following the launch of its partner program in February.Tenzing also previously announced partnerships with cloud software as a service provider Apprenda and cloud infrastructure provider OpSource.

This latest partnership will include joint strategic planning and co-marketing activities designed to broaden the service offerings of both Tenzing and Heiler Software.According to the press release, Heiler’s Product Information Management solution is a centralized, integrated, and flexible platform that “drives multichannel commerce, increases conversions and margins, and accelerates time-to-market… [enabling] multichannel businesses to provide a continuous omni-channel experience to their customers.”

Tenzing says its managed hosting services lower the ongoing business risks, capital needs, and operational costs associated with the delivery of complex e-commerce and SaaS applications like PIM.“Companies usually don’t want to build the expertise, processes and 24×7 support needed to host these specialized applications in-house. They would rather concentrate on their core business, not the infrastructure,” said Brian Shepard, founder and CEO of Tenzing. “Heiler’s preference was to deal with one company and they found a trusted partner in Tenzing. As their preferred managed hosting provider, we help simplify the business models for Heiler and their new customers in North America. With this partnership, everyone can focus on what they do best. Tenzing is ISO 27001 and SAS 70 Type II certified with data centers in Toronto, and Vancouver and Kelowna, British Columbia. In addition to managed hosting services, Tenzing offers PCI-DSS solutions for e-commerce customers managing credit card information.
