An arbitrator with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center has awarded WalMartCareers.com domain name to Wal-Mart Stores. Wal-Mart filed a complatin with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center,asserting legal rights over the disputed domain name.Wal-Mart Stores owns many trademark registrations for the "WalMart"  mark all over the world.Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.

Moreover,the company contended in the complaint and managed to demonstrate that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith :

" The Panel finds as reasonable the Complainant’s contention that the Respondent is obtaining commercial gain from its use of the website using the disputed domain name, that the Respondent’s use of the disputed domain name and website results in a commercial gain for others by placing links to possible competitors of the Complainant and other individuals, groups or entities on its website, and that the Respondent is intentionally using the Complainant’s mark in the disputed domain name to attract Internet searchers by creating a likelihood of confusion with the Complaint’s mark. "

The Panel ordered the disputed domain name to be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
