Now that the new Pebble Android app with Pebble appstore is available on Play Store, Evernote is also jumping on to the bandwagon with their new Evernote for Pebble.

Evernote has always been widely available across many devices and it is a very useful productivity tool. Adding Evernote access to Pebble watch is a major step to recognise the importance of wearable technology. This update has been long requested by the Pebble community and Evernote was more than happy to comply. Evernote feels that this tool will be used by people who don’t have access to laptop, and who feel that accessing their notes on a smartphone can be inconvenient.

The integration allows for Pebble watches to access notebooks, notes, shortcuts, tags, checklists and reminders. Though the Pebble screen is small, it was designed to display texts clearly, even under bright lights or when there’s no light at all. You can read emails, recipes, addresses or meetings notes that have been saved to your Evernote, right on your wrist. You can also find business notes based on location when you’re at a meeting with a client. Another really useful update for me would be the checklist when I’m out shopping. I can now tick off items from my list without having to take my phone out every time. As mentioned earlier, reminders work too so your Pebble keeps you up to date on upcoming events and to-dos.
